Overview
Apex Trader Funding is one of the most popular prop firms in the futures space. As of March 2026, Apex overhauled their product lineup β evaluations are now one-time fees (no more monthly recurring charges) and come in two drawdown flavors: Intraday Trail and EOD (End of Day) Trail. You only need 1 trading day to pass, and there is no consistency rule during the evaluation. On funded (PA) accounts, Apex offers 100% of requested rewards with a 50% consistency rule. With support for NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Rithmic, TradingView, and WealthCharts, they remain one of the most platform-flexible firms available. Up to 20 accounts allowed.

Dashboard & User Experience
The Apex dashboard is our least favorite of the 8 firms we trade with. It provides very basic account information but lacks the real-time analytics, visual P&L breakdowns, and trade journal features that competitors offer. You will likely need to rely on your trading platform for most analysis.
β Dashboard Strengths
- βShows account balance and drawdown status
- βSimple enough to not be confusing
β οΈ Dashboard Weaknesses
- βMinimal trade analytics or performance metrics
- βNo visual P&L charts or equity curves
- βNo built-in trade journal or calendar view
- βFeels outdated compared to newer firms

Drawdown Type
Trailing EOD or Trailing Intraday
This firm offers two drawdown options. EOD Trail updates at end of day based on your highest closing balance, giving you room during the day. Intraday Trail updates in real-time as your equity reaches new highs β more restrictive but typically comes with a lower evaluation fee.
Daily Loss Limit
No daily loss limit β only the max trailing drawdown applies.
Profit Split
Apex Trader Funding offers a 100% of requested rewards profit split.
Path to Live (Funded) Account
You must trade for a minimum of 1 trading day and hit the profit target without violating any drawdown rules to become funded.
