As of March 2026, Apex overhauled their product lineup — evaluations are strictly one-time fees (eliminating monthly recurring charges) and come in two drawdown flavors: Intraday Trail and EOD (End of Day) Trail. Extremely unique to them, there is NO minimum day requirement to pass evaluations (you can pass in a single session), and no consistency rule during evaluation. On funded (PA) accounts, Apex offers 100% of requested rewards initially with a 50% consistency rule. Remember their strict 2026 rule changes: PAs are capped at 6 lifetime payouts (account closes afterward), requiring 5 qualifying trading days per payout request, and mandatory stop-losses. With broad platform support, they remain highly flexible.

Dashboard & User Experience
The Apex dashboard is our least favorite of the firms we trade with. It provides very basic account information but lacks the real-time analytics, visual P&L breakdowns, and trade journal features that competitors offer. You will likely need to rely on your trading platform for most analysis.

This firm offers two drawdown options. EOD Trail updates at end of day based on your highest closing balance, giving you room during the day. Intraday Trail updates in real-time as your equity reaches new highs — more restrictive but typically comes with a lower evaluation fee.
Daily Loss Limit
$1,000 maximum loss per day. If your P&L for the day hits this limit, trading is halted automatically.

You must trade for a minimum of 1 trading day and hit the profit target without violating any drawdown rules to become funded.

⚠️ Critical Rule Update: The 6-Payout Cap
Note for 2026: Apex Trader Funding has instituted a strict 6-payout lifetime cap per funded Performance Account (PA).
This means after you successfully withdraw money from a PA 6 times, the account will be automatically closed, and you must purchase and pass a new evaluation to continue trading with them. Retirees relying on consistent long-term income must factor this frequent re-evaluation cycle into their business plan.
